Port Stephens is pretty laid back. You could take it easy today on an optional dolphin cruise to catch a glimpse of these beautiful animals. Feeling more energetic? Hike to the top of Tomaree Head for sensational views, or take up some optional sand dune quad biking and sandboarding. Whatever you do, you’ll work up an appetite. Thankfully this place is known for its seafood, so be sure to check out one of the local restaurants for dinner.
Day 3: Port Stephens to Hunter Valley
Hunter Valley is synonymous with wine, so we’ll visit a local vineyard, a brewery, and get a chocolate tasting ticked off the list. You’ll even get to hop in an oak barrel and have a go at grape stomping. Talk about an awesome day! Make sure to leave enough space in your suitcase for some foodie souvenirs.
