This morning we fly to the Kruger region and continue to Mthethomusha Private Game Reserve, on the border of Greater Kruger National Park. This afternoon we’ll head out on our first game drive! [B,D]
Our day is devoted to viewing the abundant wildlife found in this beautiful park, on morning and afternoon game drives. [B,L,D]
We leave South Africa and fly to Maun, gateway to the incredible Okavango Delta. From here we’ll enjoy a scenic flight in a light plane over the beautiful delta into Moremi Game Reserve. This afternoon we search for game before admiring the sunset from a cruise on Boro River. [B,D]
Special Experience: This morning we cruise along the delta in a traditional mokoro can, admiring the amazing birdlife and scenery of one of the richest ecosystems in the world as it is bathed in morning light. [B,L,D]
After an early morning searching for game, we travel to the airstrip for our flight to Kasane. From here, we’ll make our way into famous Chobe National Park. This afternoon we take to the water for a boat safari as the sun sets. [B,D]
We explore Chobe National Park today on morning and afternoon game drives. Known for having one of the largest populations of elephants in Africa, it’s also home to huge herds of buffals and zebra. Hopefully we’ll spot large prides of lions lazing the day away in the shade as well. [B,L,D]
We cross the border and travel to Victoria Falls, the world’s largest waterfall, forming part of the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia. Tonight we’ll relax on a sunset cruise along the Zambezi River. [B]
A morning guided walk takes us through lush rainforest to the spectacular falls. Explore the trails and take in the amazing view! [B,D]
Special Experience: This evening we enjoy a boma dinner, with traditional dancing and drumming.
Enjoy the morning at leisure before our flight to Johannesburg this afternoon. [B]
Today we take another flight, this time to Nairobi. [B]
Today we’ll visit the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, run by Dame Daphne Sheldrick, which rescues and rehabilitates elephants and rhinos orphaned by ivory and horn poachers. Then get up close and personal with the giraffes at the Giraffe Centre. Later we enjoy lunch at the Karen Blixen Coffee Garden and visit the adjoining Museum. We then visit the Kazuri Beads Factory. Started by two single women, it now produces ethical handicrafts and provides sustainable employment to more than 340 local women. [B,L]
Escaping the city, we travel north and cross the equator before arriving in Samburu National Reserve. After lunch we’ll head out on our first game drive! [B,L,D]

Special Experience: Visit a Samburu village and school to learn about ‘a day in the life’ of a Samburu woman and her children.
Today we travel to Mount Kenya, Kenya’s highest mountain. On our way we stop at the Nanyuki Spinners and Weavers, a place where women are trained in the craft of spinning and weaving, empowering them to earn a sustainable living.
On arrival in Mt Kenya we’ll explore the forest on foot with a ranger. [B,L,D]
A chance for us to spot the endangered rhino in beautiful Lake Nakuru National Park today on an afternoon game drive. [B,L,D]
We’ll participate in a tree-planting ceremony at our lodge this morning before we travel to Lake Naivasha, the home of the late Joy Adamson, author of “Born Free”.
After lunch, we drive to Hell's Gate National Park where we go for a walk, admiring the spectacular scenery of towering cliffs, extinct volcans and deep gorges.
We then return to the rich heritage and idyllic scenery of Lake Naivasha, the perfect place to enjoy afternoon tea and visit the Adamson house containing memorabilia from the “Born Free” film. [B,L,D]
We travel to the famous Maasai Mara and enjoy a game drive, spotting elephants, giraffes, zebra, gazelles and lions! [B,L,D]
