In Botswana, we enjoy two nights in an eco-luxury tented campsite within Moremi Game Reserve. Here we explore the Okavango delta and it's stunning ecosystem. Other highlights include brilliant boat safaris and game drives within Chobe National Park.   • Tour the Karen Blixen Museum, presenting a glimpse of the life of Karen Blixen, an extraordinary farmer and the author of 'Out of Africa'.
  • Explore rugged and remote Samburu National Reserve on game drives. The reserve attracts some amazing wildlife including giraffe, buffalo, waterbuck, zebra and much more!

Day 3. Cape Town

We discover the cosmopolitan city on a sightseeing tour this morning. Highlights include the South African Museum and iconic Table Mountain (weather permitting).

Special Experience: Nestled at the eastern foot of majestic Table Mountain, the Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden is one of Cape Town's natural treasures. Explore the stunning landscapes on a garden tour.

Tonight we'll enjoy a group welcome dinner, accompanied by djembe drumming. [B,D]

Day 4. Cape Town - Mthethomusha Game Reserve

This morning we fly to the Kruger region and continue to Mthetomusha Private Game Reserve, on the border of Greater Kruger National Park. This afternoon we'll head out on our first game drive! [B,D]

Day 5. Mthethomusha Game Reserve

Our day is devoted to viewing the abundant wildlife found in this beautiful park, on morning and afternoon game drives. [B,L,D]

Day 6. Mthethomusha Game Reserve - Johannesburg

After one last morning game drive, we transfer to the airport for our flight to Johannesburg. [B]

Day 7. Johannesburg - Okavango Delta

We leave South Africa and fly to Maun, gateway to the incredible Okavango Delta. From here we'll enjoy a scenic flight in a light plane over the beautiful delta into Moremi Game Reserve. This afternoon we'll head out in search of game by boat. [B,D]

Day 8. Okavango Delta (Moremi)

Special Experience: This morning we cruise along the delta in a traditional mokoro can, admiring the amazing birdlife and scenery of one of the richest ecosystems in the world as it is bathed in morning light. [B,L,D]

Day 9. Okavango Delta - Chobe

After an early morning searching for game, we travel to the airstrip for our flight to Kasane. From here, we'll make our way into famous Chobe National Park. This afternoon we take to the water for a boat safari as the sun sets. [B,D]

Day 10. Chobe National Park

We explore Chobe National Park today on morning and afternoon game drives. Known for having one of the largest populations of elephants in Africa, it's also home to huge herds of buffals and zebra. Hopefully we'll spot large prides of lions lazing the day away in the shade as well. [B,L,D]

Day 11. Chobe - Victoria Falls

We cross the border and travel to Victoria Falls, the world's largest waterfall, forming part of the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia. Tonight we'll relax on a sunset cruise along the Zambezi River. [B]

Day 12. Victoria Falls

A morning guided walk takes us through lush rainforest to the spectacular falls. Explore the trails and take in the amazing view! [B,D]

Special Experience: This evening we enjoy a boma dinner, with traditional dancing and drumming.

Day 13. Victoria Falls - Nairobi

Enjoy the morning at leisure before our flight to Nairobi this afternoon. [B]

Day 14. Nairobi

Today we'll visit the David Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, run by Dame Daphne Sheldrick, which rescues and rehabilitates orphaned elephants and rhinos from ivory and horn poachers. Then get up close and personal with the giraffes at the Giraffe Centre.

Later we enjoy lunch at the Karen Blixen Coffee Garden and visit the adjoining Museum. [B,L]

Day 15. Nairobi - Samburu National Reserve

Escaping the city, we travel north and cross the equator before arriving in Samburu National Reserve. After lunch we'll head out on our first game drive! [B,L,D]

Day 16. Samburu National Reserve

Keep an eye out for Samburu's diverse range of wildlife on morning and afternoon game drives today. [B,L,D]

Special Experience: Visit a Samburu village and school to learn about 'a day in the life' of a Samburu woman and her children.

Day 17. Samburu National Reserve - Mt Kenya National Park

Today we travel to Mount Kenya, Kenya's highest mountain. Here we'll explore the forest on foot with a ranger. [B,L,D]

Day 18. Mt Kenya National Park - Lake Nakuru National Park

A chance for us to spot the endangered rhino in beautiful Lake Nakuru National Park today on an afternoon game drive. [B,L,D]

Day 19. Lake Nakuru National Park - Lake Naivasha

We'll participate in a tree-planting ceremony at our lodge this morning before we travel to Lake Naivasha, the home of the late Joy Adamson, author of "Born Free". Its rich heritage and idyllic scenery make it the perfect place to enjoy afternoon tea and visit the house containing memorabilia from the "Born Free" film. [B,L,D]

Day 20. Lake Naivasha - Maasai Mara

We travel to the famous Maasai Mara and enjoy a game drive, spotting elephants, giraffes, zebra, gazelles and lions! [B,L,D]

Day 21. Maasai Mara

Our day in the Maasai Mara is devoted to discovering the incredible wildlife on morning and afternoon game drives. [B,L,D]

Special Experience: This evening we'll enjoy a special bush dinner under a beautiful blanket of stars.
