Day 1: Los Angeles, California to Las Vegas, Nevada
After a drive through the cactus-scattered Mojave desert, start your stay in Las Vegas in style with a driving tour of the Strip. You'll go around the world 'Vegas-style', to see the Eiffel Tower, an Egyptian pyramid, the New York City skyline and Venice's St. Mark's Square. Day 5: Durango
Hitting the white water rapids on Animas River is on offer today. First up,it's time to soar above Albuquerque with an optional hot air balloon ride. Day 21: Orlando to Savannah, Georgia
Wave goodbye to the Magic Kingdom and mouse ears, you're en route to the bona fide southern belle that is Savannah. Tonight it's ghost tour time (if you dare). Not to scare you, but Savannah is one of America's most haunted cities. You'll wander through the spooky (yet beautiful) streets and visit haunted and historic houses, all while hearing bone-chilling tales of of ghosts and ghouls. Day 22: Savannah
After a hopefully nightmare-free sleep, take in the 18th-century buildings and dreamy tree-lined walkways of Savannah. Day 23: Savannah to Wilmington, North Carolina via Charleston, South Carolina
Before hitting Wilmington, sample the charm of Charleston. Day 20: Orlando
If you've got your swimmers, get splash-tastic at one of the water parks or visit a galaxy that's not so very far, far away with the Star Wars attractions at Walt Disney World. If theme parks just aren't your bag there are the botanical garden, wine bars, spas and shopping, or to hang out with the local foodies, try Ivanh Village for lunch or dinner. Day 12: Lake Charles to New Orleans (via Baton Rouge)

Day 19: Miami to Orlando

You could browse the shops and stalls of the French Market, peruse the art and antiques on Royal and Chartres Streets and learn about the local brewing scene in NOLA. Day 16: Panama City Beach to Florida Gulf Coast

Day 25: Washington, D.C.
Snap yourself in front of some of the US's most iconic buildings, recreate famous movie moments, spot a senator. Today you can get a real feel for the powerhouse that is DC. Get your bearings and tick off all the must-see places with an optional segway or bike tour. However you travel, this is the place to clue yourself up on all things American history, and visit some of the many memorials, monuments and museums. Day 18: Miami
Take a trip to Little Havana to people-watch in the cafes, while street musicians provide a Cuban backing track. Stroll by the pretty pastel houses and dodge the Speedo-clad skaters of South Beach. Or let the Hop On Hop Off bus tour show you the sights so you get your bearings and see more of the nooks and crannies of the city. Day 26: Washington, D.C. to New York City, via Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
It's time to leave the capital behind for a pitstop in Philly. For a bird's eye view of the city, you can choose to head to the One Liberty Observation Deck. We'll do a driving tour of Philadelphia to see the sights - you'll channel your inner champ at the Rocky statue, feel the love as you swing by the Love statue - before heading for the bright lights of the Big Apple.
