Day 1: Rome, Italy
Oh Rome, you beautiful thing! Enter one of the oldest cities in the world - history was born and made here. Make like Caesar (the emperor, not the salad) and work up a colossus hunger as you pass by the Pantheon, throw your two cents in the Trevi Fountain, sit on the Spanish Steps and visit ancient history's version of the Hunger Games set at the Colosseum. Day 2: Rome including Vatican City visit
Create the ultimate Roman Holiday in one day with a whirlwind of Vespas, espresso, two-cheek kisses and pizza the way it's supposed to taste. Count your blessings on an optional tour of the Vatican City to see how Michelangelo messed around and created the High Renaissance, then play eye spy with two-and-a-half millennia worth of history. Day 7: Corfu to Tirana, Albania
What happens when you paint a former communist capital in vivid colours? According to Tirana's artist-turned mayor- turned TED speaker Edi Rama, people start paying taxes and crime rates plummet. Day 8: Tirana to Dubrovnik, Croatia via Budva, Montenegro
Gawk at all the stunning views that race past the coach window as we head up the gorgeous coast of Montenegro and make for the most famous walled city in Europe. Wander Dubrovnik's tiny cobblestoned streets and explore hidden cafés and shops before grabbing some dinner and checking out the glitzy nightlife. Day 15: Venice
If this is your first time to set Venice, welcome. If you’ve been before, welcome back. It just get’s better and better (honest). Get walking and go bridge hopping - the 100+ slowly sinking islands won't explore themselves. Find your bearings, then get hopelessly lost. Your GPS won't save you here. Soak up St Mark's Square (then get far, far away if you don't want to drop $40 on a coffee). This afternoon, snoop the Doges Palace, cross Rialto Bridge and shop for Carnevale masks. Day 14: Ljubljana to Venice, Italy
A quick stop at Postojna Caves then more technicolour landscapes as we round the tip of the Adriatic and roll into one of the most romantic cities in Europe. Say ciao to Venice from across the lagoon as we check into our hotel, have an Eat Pray Love-worthy relationship with an irresistible Italian (meal) and get pumped for living out your own version of The Italian Job tomorrow. Day 13: Hvar to Ljubljana, Slovenia
Giddy up, we're off to Ljubljana (lyoob-lya-nah) - aka the capital of Slovenia. Tonight, hit up military-barracks-turned-bar-and-gallery-strip, Metelkova Mesto for a tea or vino with a side of live music and underground art installations. Day 9: Dubrovnik
Make the most of your free day in Dubrovnik. Check out the residential homes further up in the old town for awesome views and a local perspective, and then relish a cold beer on the wall as the sun sets over the Adriatic. Day 11: Sarajevo to Hvar, Croatia

Day 10: Dubrovnik to Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina
Like a phnix from the ashes, Sarajevo has rebuilt from its tragic past to be a buzzing, bohemian city. The capital and largest city of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sarajevo is a feast for the eyes with its red-roofed houses, green tinged mountains and lively cafe and museum culture. Day 16: Venice to Florence

Day 12: Hvar

Hightail it to the Eternal City for a rendezvous with ancient architecture's biggest players. You're on your own from here, but Rome wasn't built in a day so why not spend a few more and get to know this ancient powerhouse a little better? Meals: -Breakfast
