We board a tuk tuk to explore Luang Prabang this morning. Later we'll discover the traditional architecture of Luang Prabang at beautiful Wat Xieng Thong. The boat will also stop so we can explore the Pak Ou Caves. With a history dating back thousands of years, these two caves are shrines to the river spirit and Lord Buddha, and are filled with more than 4,000 Buddha icons. They are set in a dramatic limestone cliff about 12 metres above the river. We'll disembark in the early afternoon and the rest of the day is free for you to relax or explore. [B,L]
