Arrive into Reykjavik and take the door-to-door Flybus to your hotel in the centre of town. The afternoon and evening is yours to explore this compact city. Be sure to check out the new Harp Opera house on the harbour.
This morning is free to explore Reykjavik.
Then mid morning, you will be joining a small group tour out to the famous Golden Circle. Your route is combined with stops at local farms for some traditional tastes, a visit to a local spa and a chance to see the Northern Lights. Heading out of Reykjavík, we set our course through Þingvellir to the local greenhouse, Friðheimar. There we get a taste of their delicious tomato soup and freshly baked bread for lunch.
Next we visit the magnificent Gullfoss waterfall and the great Geyser geothermal area where the reliable Strokkur geyser spouts hot water up as high as 15 - 30 m. After enjoying these jewels of Icelandic nature, it is time to turn our attention back to the taste buds with a visit to the farm Efstidalur. There we get a few samples of their local products such as skyr and delicious ice cream. Afterwards, it´s time for some relaxation at the geothermal spa Fontana followed by a 2 course dinner at the local restaurant Lindin.
After a nice meal we head out to explore the mysterious nights of Iceland where we go and search of the magical Northern Lights.
An early start to travel to the south coast of Iceland with its black beaches, picturesque waterfalls and magnificent glaciers. On our way we witness the many sides of Icelandic nature and culture. Skógafoss Waterfall, Reynisfjara Beach, Sólaheimasandur Glacier view and Vík Village are among highlights. Farms, small villages, horses grazing amidst Glaciers, active geothermal areas, black sand deserts and terrific cliffs will capture your eye and provide endless photo opportunities. We arrive back in Reykjavík early in the evening, giving you plenty of time to explore the downtown area, with its museums, cafés and shops, before dinner.
Be sure to carry warm clothing, rain gear, good shs, bathing suit and towel. During the tour we break for refreshments at a local restaurant or café.
More adventurous day tours can be arranged.
After exploring the Icelandic capital this morning, transfer to the Blue Lagoon for a therapeutic afternoon and evening in the healing waters of the Blue Lagoon. Stay overnight at the Northern Light Inn, which is just a stone's throw from the international airport.
Our services end after breakfast and a bus transfer to the international airport.
